The main commitment for Jake was to make a brave decision to move from his hometown of Noosa and to Brisbane under the head coach of Indooroopilly. Jake self funded this move by working part time while also continuing his studies.
After a hard 18 months Jake was rewarded for his efforts making his senior team debut at the Pan Pacific on the Gold Coast. Since this time Jake Packard has become senior member for the Dolphins Australia where he has represented his country at the World SC Championships in Doha, World LC championships in Russia and 2016 RIO Olympics.
