Brittany was the youngest athlete on the 410 strong Australian Olympic Team at the London 2012 Games. As a 16-year-old she showed remarkable poise to block out the pressures of Olympic competition and bring home silver in the 10m platform event. The journey to the Olympics and ultimately the Silver medal was the result of being a full-time athlete from the age of 11 years old.
The world of an elite diver is a 36 hour week requiring discipline and dedication. A decision to have shoulder surgery ruled Brittany out of the 2014 Commonwealth Games however she is now well and truly on her way to securing a position in the 2016 Olympic Games Team. Brittany Broben embodies all that is good in sport and has rightly earned her place as one of the World's Premier Platform Divers and yet Brittany will quickly tell you that she is only just learning about her sport.
