Barbara Riveros - Triathlete

Three-Time Olympian

At the age of eight years old, Barbara begun running with her father where her love for nature and sport gave her a great physical and psychological strength. From a young age she achieved outstanding results in mountain bike and athletic track competitions.

In early years she accomplished several continental titles and was top nine within the youth athletes. After the 2005 World Championships, Barbara made the decision to move to Australia in order to further her sporting development and receive the support necessary to achieve her future goals.

Barbara's humility and simplicity is a credit to her past and present performances.
